What we collect, what happens to photos you upload, and for how long.
This policy says what we collect, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what an order needs, we use it to get a floor to your door and stand behind it, we never sell it or share it for marketing, and we delete it when it has done its job.
What we collect, and why
Order information. Your name, shipping address, email address and phone number — because a freight carrier has to find your driveway and we have to be able to reach you about the delivery. This is the core of what we hold and the reason we hold it.
Payment. Payments are processed by PayPal on PayPal’s own systems. Your card number is entered with PayPal and never touches our servers — we receive confirmation that a payment happened, not the details it happened with.
Photos you upload to the visualizer. Location data and other identifying metadata are destroyed the moment a photo is uploaded, before anything else happens to it. Photos are stored privately for your session so you can compare finishes, and then deleted. They are never used for anything else and never become part of a gallery, a dataset or an advertisement.
Messages you send us. If you write to support or submit a form, we keep the conversation so we can actually help you — context is most of support.
Ordinary website telemetry. We use analytics to understand which pages help people and which do not, and an anti-abuse check on forms to keep bots out. We do not run advertising trackers.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketers, brokers or “partners.” We do not build advertising profiles. The only parties who see any of it are the ones physically required to complete your order: the payment processor, the freight carrier, and the email service that sends your receipt — each receives only what its job requires.
How it is stored
Order records live in an encrypted database. There are no customer accounts and no stored passwords — checkout is by order, and your order page is reachable only through the private link in your confirmation email.
How long we keep it
Only as long as it is doing something for you or required of us: order records are kept through the guarantee and warranty period and for the retention that tax law requires, then deleted. Visualizer photos are deleted after your session. If you want something removed sooner, ask — email orders@anvilfloors.com or call 406-589-8691 and we will delete what the law does not require us to keep.
Order emails — confirmations, shipping notices, receipts — are part of the purchase and everyone gets them. Marketing email goes only to people who asked for it, and every one of those messages carries a working unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
Cookies
One functional cookie remembers your cart. Analytics set their own, which measure pages rather than people. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion — orders@anvilfloors.com, or 406-589-8691. A real person answers, and “delete my data” is a request we honor rather than a maze we route you into.
