Shipping and delivery
Flat $400.00 anywhere in the lower 48. Your kit is built to your floor size, palletised, and delivered by freight truck.
What happens after you order
-
We receive the order
Nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting for you. Your order tells us the exact square footage, so the kit is specified against your floor rather than rounded up to the nearest box.
-
It gets built
Primer, body coat, decorative media and clear topcoat are drawn to the quantities your floor needs, with the overage a real slab takes. This is the part that takes the time.
-
It is palletised
Everything for your floor goes on one pallet, wrapped and banded, so it arrives together. A kit weighs several hundred pounds — a larger quartz floor can pass half a ton.
-
It ships LTL
We book it as an LTL freight shipment — less-than-truckload, meaning your pallet shares a trailer with other freight. We email you the carrier and tracking number the moment it leaves.
-
The carrier calls you
In most cases the driver or the terminal rings ahead to arrange a delivery window. Answer that call — a missed appointment usually means the pallet goes back to the terminal and waits.
Before you order, check the truck can reach you
This arrives on a full-size freight truck, not a parcel van. It needs somewhere the driver can legally and safely stop and get a pallet off the back.
- A steep, narrow, unpaved or heavily overhung driveway may be refused.
- Residential delivery usually means the pallet is left at the kerb or the end of the drive, not carried inside.
- You will need a way to move several hundred pounds the last few yards — a helper and a hand truck, or a friend with a tractor.
- A commercial address with a dock is always easier. A workplace, a friend with a shop, or the carrier terminal are all fine delivery points.
If any of that is doubtful, talk to us before you order and we will work out where it should go.
Where we ship
The lower 48 states and the District of Columbia. Everything on this site is priced in US dollars.
We cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US territories, PO Boxes, or military APO, FPO and DPO addresses — a pallet of resin does not travel on those routes. If the floor really is out there, talk to us and we will price a crated shipment by hand.
No international shipping.
What it costs
$400.00 flat, added at checkout, however big the floor and wherever in the lower 48 it goes.
Samples are different — they go in a flat envelope by post, and shipping on those is included.
When it arrives
Check the pallet before the driver leaves. Look at the wrap, count the pails against the packing sheet, and note anything crushed or leaking on the delivery paperwork before you sign. A note on the receipt is the difference between a claim we can make and one we cannot.
If something is wrong, photograph it where it stands and tell us the same day.
